Share a Page

Overview

Sharing a page is great for when you want to share information with a guest or request input from someone outside of your team, without having to add them to the team.

All members have the option to share a page with existing guests or other members in the organization.

  • Team owners have the added ability to add a new person as a guest.
  • Team owners who are also admins/user managers have the added ability to add a new person as a member or guest.

Sharing a Page

Click the 3-dot menu next to the page name and select "Share."


Enter user and include an optional message. Click "Share Page."

Quick Tip: You can also share a page with a member from the same team, if you'd rather ping them privately in a 1:1 chat


Shared Page Notification

Once you click "Share Page," the recipient(s) will receive a 1:1 chat message letting them know that you've shared a page.

Samepage will also post a 'shared page notification' message in Page Chat and display a shared page indicator on the top right of the page.


Remove Non-Team Members from Page

Click the shared page indicator on the top right of the page and simply click the "X" next to the user's name.
