"Before Samepage we used a combination of Dropbox, Google Docs, and email. Now we have everything in one place."
MelRae Ambs, Board member, Stoa
Stoa is a national junior high and high school speech and debate league serving the needs of privately educated Christian homeschooling families.
Stoa is a nationwide volunteer-run organization. Keeping the board on track and running national tournaments are big organizational challenges with team members spread across USA. The organization needed a tool that would allow their national board to meet during the year, divide work, and track progress.
Other tools were becoming more of a barrier than a solution:
"Dropbox has changed - the share can expire. It's hard to get back into a project and track progress when you can't access the share link after a period of time. And Google Docs are a different format than the rest of our work - documents don't look as professional."
Samepage brings everything together for Stoa:
"The big benefit to Samepage is having everything filed centrally. We use it to organize our board meetings. It's convenient to have the files right there on the meeting page. There is no need to send someone elsewhere to open files. We also track tasks through each meeting to get progress updates."
Stoa also relies on Samepage to organize national events:
"We have national events where we'll bring people in to Samepage to help organize the event. Samepage allows us to rotate people in-and-out and share information quickly."
