We are improving how you ask teammates to join your organization on Samepage. Now you can use an invitation link and share the way that fits your team the best.
All you need is to click on the "Enable auto-call" button in the edit event dialog. When the event starts, phones and computers of all event participants will start to ring. This way, it's much easier to get everyone in the call.
Last week we released one of our most significant features for Q4. The tasks boards (aka kanban). With the task boards, it was never easier to manage a project in Samepage. You can define your workflow with custom columns and quickly move tasks around with a mouse. Pretty easy and straightforward.
Today is a big day that marks the future of Samepage development. We have a new document type called Task Board to please all the task lovers and project managers.
Video calling is one of our crucial collaboration features. To be in touch is especially vital for co-located offices. During the last few weeks, we have been working hard improving our video calling solution.
It happens to all chats with multiple people eventually. Several distinct questions get asked at the same time, and people start chatting about them one over another. Various topics get discussed, replied, argued about, forgotten, lost, found, started over, argued about again, and so on. It's easy to get lost and hard to escape without a headache.
We bring you three improvements to our primary collaboration element: pages. It all starts with customer feedback.
Notifications - we love them and hate them, right?! We want and need to be notified of conversations happening in our teams and pages. But sometimes, it can be too much of a good thing. So we built the next generation of notification settings.
We're always improving Samepage. For a couple of last weeks, we focused on the performance of our mobile app. That forced us to work on things that are not visible directly in the interface. But it was necessary, and it was worth the effort. We are so thrilled about these changes that we shot a quick video for you.
Teams in Samepage are where most of your work gets done, so it naturally makes sense for us to improve how you're able to work inside of your teams. Among the dozens of small improvements we make every month, two stand out for making life easier for our users.
We're proud to announce we've been named as the leader in the team collaboration space by Info-Tech's Emotional Footprint Report!
We've spent the past few months bolstering the foundation of our team collaboration platform with a strong emphasis on communication & real-time content management. Now, with a solid collaborative foundation, and with the full power of our development team, we're moving full speed ahead on enhancing task management in our all-in-one platform.
"Consolidation is coming in the collaboration app space," says Ondrej Fryc, Managing Partner at Reflex Capital. "The number of apps people are using is unsustainable. The market is moving toward more feature-complete solutions, and Samepage has positioned itself perfectly."
This is huge. Today, we announce the availability of completely free group chat from Samepage. Unlimited everything, from historical chat search to screen sharing to concurrent group video calls. Unlimited 3rd-party integrations too. Why are we giving it all away for free? Read this blog post to find out.
First things first - all guests are now free. Plus, if you haven't had a chance to meet your new "People" screen yet, you'll see it was redesigned to make management of your members and guests easier.
When we say we've got a team of rockstar developers, this is what we're talking about. One of them is quickly reaching online celebrity status as a software developer by day, and now-famous hardware developer by night.
Teamwork apps usually win awards for being great at the one thing they focus on: team communication, task management, productivity, file sharing, etc. You won't often see one app leading in multiple award categories, but in 2018, that's exactly what Samepage did. How? And more importantly, why? Allow us to send you into 2019 with the answers:
It's time to celebrate. Today, Samepage unveils a powerful new desktop design. It's been shaped, tweaked, tested, and polished by rockstar developers, designers, and power collaborators alike. We'd love to go on bragging about it, but the design speaks for itself, so we'll keep this short.
This round of design changes focused on content within your teams. What was once a full column of team content (members & guests, chat, tasks, files, pages, etc.) is now a sleek, less intrusive, yet more useful display across the top of your desktop screen.
"From both a technological standpoint as well as a business standpoint, Samepage is ready to scale," said Ondřej Fryc, Managing Partner at Reflex Capital. "Samepage has outstanding customer satisfaction metrics. Once you meet the engineering and support teams, you know why. It's exciting to see this level of talent and experience under one roof, and it'll be very exciting to watch them continue to innovate."
Stop us if you've heard this before. A team of co-workers recognizes they need to work together more efficiently. With the pitfalls of their current digital tools in mind, they set out to create or find a better way to work together.
This blog post will not attempt to tell you what online project management is. Honestly, we don't believe there is a one-size-fits-all definition out there, and we don't believe any two project managers do it in exactly the same way.
Freelancers are playing an increasing role in a global economy, with an estimated 34 percent of the workforce now working as independent contractors. This shift is revolutionizing the workplace, helping companies like yours to grow, scale and innovate more efficiently than ever. Why? It’s simple.
