Hi Samepagers! We've got some awesome new features releasing today that will help you stay on top of upcoming events and tasks you need to complete.
Now you can add people to events–it's a great way to keep them informed about meetings, conferences, and other important dates.
When you add a person to an event, they will see the event displayed in their personal calendar. Plus, they'll be able to customize the reminder time for the event, so they always stay in the know. [Learn more]
Task and Event Notification Pane
We've added a notification pane in My Tasks and My Calendar. Simply click the little bell icon located on the top-right of your tasks or calendar to expand the pane.
Once the pane is expanded, you'll see notifications for:
- new tasks that have been assigned to you
- any events in which you've been added as an attendee
Here you'll also see any reminders that have been set for your tasks and events. More information on reminders below.
If you're juggling a lot of things throughout the week, it's a good idea to set some helpful reminders to guide you along the way.
You can customize reminders directly from My Tasks and My Calendar. The best part is that the reminder time you set is just for you. Other event attendees or people involved in the same task will not be affected. Keep in mind though, that if you delete the task or event, it will be deleted for everyone else involved.
